Methodology

I help students improve their vocabulary, pronunciation, and basic grammar through guided conversations and engaging learning activities. I use a lot of gestures (TPR) and props, especially for beginners, to help them understand and memorize. Learning new words and common phrases is the key to start speaking English! Once you build up a good word bank, you can start communicating. Word order and sentence structure will improve with practice. Let's learn the practical phrases you will need through situational conversation, reading material, and free talk. I try my best to be fun and adaptable, to help my students stay motivated. Is there something specific you would like to practice? We can discuss a topic you're interested in and focus on an area you would like to improve.

Background

I have enjoyed teaching English online for almost 3 years. I have taught over 200 children and adults, of all levels, from all over the world! I support my students as they further their education and advance in their professions. I became TEFL certified through an intensive online curriculum. It has helped me develop more teaching skills, so I can help others learn English as a foreign language effectively.
