I approach teaching english as a second language differently with each student. Once I determine whether they are more visual than auditory, I adjust the lessons accordingly. It is important to teach how students learn for the best results.
I have a BA in French Language and Literature with a Minor in English Literature, a TESOL certificate and 25 years working in an institution of higher learning in support of student population in areas of academics and career- related requests. Working with both local and international students, I developed a unique appreciation for their career-related needs. Whether seeking full-time, part-time or summer employment, students where regularly seeking assistance for the perfect resume, interview tips, and how to perform the perfect handshake.
I regularly write my own blogs as well as content for businesses, both small and large. My command of the English language is excellent, and I am confident in my ability to impart my knowledge and experience to students seeking to get a better command of the language.
