Texas Trombonist with state accolades looking to help students advance on their instrument technique
Methodology
I like to let the students display their level of interest and capability, then offer them advice on what to do in order to increase the strength of their technique, allowing them to naturally grow ability through the advancement of what they already know, then introducing them to a variety of methods to integrate, and a variety of musical paths to take. As a trombonist, one can enjoy classical, jazz, and many other genres.
Background
I have been a musician for over a decade, studying piano, trombone, and guitar. In high school, I won many state competitions, separating myself as a distinguished player for my passion in my performance. Now, I am wanting to help those that also pursue eloquent musical deliverance. Being born in a musical family, I have always enjoyed connecting with others that have a love for music. After being accepted to the UO School of Music, I attended LaneCC first to bring my out-of-state tuition down. With the outbreak of coVid, I stopped attending formal school and began teaching myself full-time. I offer lessons, ideas for musical approach, and help preparing for performances.
