My educational journey is rather unique I enrolled at Laney Community College in 1999 as a returning non-traditional student. In 2002, I was accepted into the University of California, Berkeley where I earned undergraduate degrees in Sociology, African American Studies. In 2007, I entered Cornell University in the field of Africana Studies. Lastly, in 2014 I earned my doctorate degree in American Culture Studies.
I specialize in History, Sociology, Cultural Studies, College Writing, College Admissions Consultant.
I have 3 years of teaching experience. My grade level range is from High School to College Undergraduates.
My teaching pedagogy is mixed methodology ranging from Video Lectures, On-line quizzes and exams, research papers, and Discussion Boards.
I am not afraid to scrap a methodology that isn't working for my students to collaborate with my students to find something that will work best for them.
