Considering the fact that students have different learning styles, I believe in designing lessons that would meet the individual needs of students. I believe it is important that students are given opportunities to learn at their own pace without feeling rushed; which would alleviate the anxiety behind learning. In order to master the skills or concepts being taught, students need to be given as much time as needed. This is where allocated time outside of the classroom would be an asset to the learning process. The significance of incorporating pre- and post-assessments will be utilized in order to determine the level of understanding of a skill/concept as well as mastery. Based off of the individual needs of students, a variety of strategies would be incorporated into the lessons. Finally, I believe that communication is prevalent in providing feedback. It is important that students are aware of how they have performed on a specific task along with providing ways that can further improve and extend their understanding of the skill/concept.
