About Alexandria

I am a non-practicing attorney who graduated from a Top 16 Law School and a Top 20 undergraduate institution. My undergraduate degree was in Non-Western History and Arabic Language and Studies. My academic passions include literacy for children and adults as well as all social sciences. During my school years I played various sports and was involved in my school's band. I understand the pressures modern students face and believe in building habits through tutoring that can be applied across areas of study.

I believe in letting students guide their learning by self-identifying areas to be improved and working on strategies and skills for effective learning. Lessons typically start with a review of material and knowledge previously gained and a check-in on new material to be practiced. Students can expect to learn not only the material, but strategies to make future learning effective.

My lessons are best suited for those studying American history, European History and Middle Eastern or North African history at a middle school level or higher.
