I received an undergraduate degree in Spanish with minors in Philosophy, Religious Studies and History from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln this past May. I am currently working on a master's degree online. I've also learned piano and speech.
I've lived in Washington, D.C. and Poland for one year each, have learned to speak Spanish fluently, lived with two foreign exchange students from Nigeria for three years, and have tutored student-athletes who play at the Division 1 level. Thanks!
Whatever it is you need help with in the areas that I understand, we will work out a schedule that works for you, but generally, here would be my plan for a typical week, if we met every day. If not, this would just be what we would do on those days:
Monday-Take inventory on where the student is with his/her work. Make a plan for the current week. Then we would talk about what needs to be done for the day/week, and complete what needs to be done for that day.
Tuesday-Discuss the basics of what the student needs again. Then work through the homework, complete it best we can and see where we need to go from there.
Wednesday-Same as above.
Thursday-Same as above.
Friday-Reassess what the student has learned this week in class. See if there are any areas that are consistently a struggle or if there are any areas that are getting better or are positive. Emphasize the positive and help with the negative, but don't emphasize it.
Saturday-Review the whole week and work through unfinished homework.
Sunday-Review the week, work through unfinished homework, and make a plan for the upcoming week.
