About the lesson
I enjoy working one-on-one with students. I try to find some subject matter that the student is interested in to base my lessons around, while asking questions they can find answers to in the text. I might make up some puzzles and word games for spelling and vocabulary.

About Janet
I started out working in a reading clinic with both adults and children. I began working in classrooms in 1981, first, as an instructional aide in all grade levels, then moved up to substitute teaching for the last 22 years. I have worked in three school districts, tutored with Professional Tutors of America, and done private tutoring on my own.
