Tutoring in History, Reading, Literature- middle school through college level. MSHP degree. Portsmouth RI area

Methodology

I am a semi-retired business executive with a Masters Degree in Historic Preservation, an undergraduate degree in History (with an expired secondary teaching certificate). I provide tutoring to middle school through college level in the following subject areas: History, English Literature.
My tutoring style is to engage the student in the subject matter, identify the areas that are acting as roadblocks to the student's comprehension and clear understanding of the subject. We then work together to map out a method of improvement and grasping of the content by the student.

Background

As a semi-retired executive, I have been mentoring adults for over thirty years. As an older graduate student I mentored several graduate students from different countries. I am just beginning my tutoring experiences.

Rates
