Tutoring Secondary and College Level English and History Pearland, TX BA History MA Literature

Methodology

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Historical Studies (1986) and a Master's Degree in Literature from the University of Houston--Clear Lake.

In 18 years at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), I was responsible for successfully editing and submitting funded research and training grant and contract proposals with public and private funders. I worked with faculty members and graduate students on numerous academic communications and publications. My earlier educational employment aided me in providing significant classroom and one-on-one learning experiences in technical writing and composition to the faculty and students.

Background

I have over 20 years experience as a Copyeditor, Grant and Academic Writer, and teaching experience in Secondary and College Level English, Composition, Reading, and History. I believe experience is fundamental to developing excellent reading and writing skills. There are no shortcuts. Repetition, repetition, repetition.
