UCLA Psychobiology and Public Affairs graduate with experience teaching science, psychology, and math

Methodology

My teaching method utilizes psychology-based learning techniques and is motivated by the idea that every student has a growth-mindset. I firmly believe that a problem can be solved in multiple ways, so I focus on providing my students with a holistic approach to each lesson. I cater my lessons to the learning style of each student (I do not use a "one-size-fits-all" approach), and approach mistakes as a pathway to learning. Lastly, I focus on student understanding, and ensure that the student arrives at an answer by themself through my guidance.

Background

I am a recent graduate of UCLA, where I majored in Psychobiology and minored in Public Affairs. I have experience tutoring middle schoolers in science and math, have taught piano lessons to elementary students, and have completed teaching internships in elementary, middle, and high school classroom settings. My passions include science, psychology, public policy, and dentistry!
