About Nour

I am a student currently completing my studies at UCLA, after earning the French Baccalauréat with mention très bien. I attended high school in Paris for two years and have been in the French school system from the very beginning, which gives me a strong understanding of its structure, expectations, and demands. My background reflects both academic excellence and a strong commitment to community engagement. Over the years, I have gained valuable experience through internships with organizations such as the United Nations Development Fund and multiple NGOs, where I developed responsibility, adaptability, and clear communication. Fluent in French and English, I bring not only subject expertise but also cultural openness. I have founded and led a debate club, worked with children in afterschool programs and camp settings, and consistently sought opportunities to guide and support others. I am known for being patient and approachable with kids, making learning both structured and enjoyable. What defines me most as a tutor is my reliability and genuine care for my students’ success. Parents can trust that I will approach each lesson with dedication and professionalism, creating a safe, supportive, and motivating environment for their children.

About the lesson

I am currently a senior at UCLA and completed the French Baccalauréat with mention très bien. Being young and having recently gone through the same program, I am very familiar with the subjects and the expectations students face in history and geography at the middle and high school level (5ème- seconde). I have previous experience teaching after school, and I enjoy working with kids, making lessons both structured and engaging. A typical session involves reviewing class material, breaking down complex ideas into simple terms, and practicing with exercises to build confidence and mastery. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s pace and needs, whether it’s preparing for exams, improving grades, or developing stronger study habits. Most importantly, I truly care about my students’ success and do everything I can to support their learning. What sets me apart is my combination of academic achievement, patience, and relatability. I know what students are going through and can guide them toward success with clarity and encouragement.
