My lessons focus on core concepts and the required skills to understand them. Sessions will likely begin by discussing some questions from the student and then launching into some problem solving to illuminate related concepts and questions. We can discuss homework/tests/labs, or I can prepare examples. There are many ways to teach, and I have experience teaching to multiple learning styles. I am flexible and willing to alter any lesson plan to give you the best experience possible for the way you learn.
I have bachelor's degrees in mathematics and physics as well as several years of graduate experience, and I've taught several early undergraduate courses during this time. Each semester, I taught over one hundred college students. I was consistently rated very highly by my students and my coworkers in our semester evaluations. While I have a lot of experience in a class, a large portion of my teaching time was spent in one-on-one interactions.
