Undergraduate Student offering to help tutor beginner readers online with 9 years of Child-care experience
Methodology
My teaching method would be to start out by reading a page of a book to a student. We would then read the same page together while sounding out each word. We will continue to practice reading until the child feels as comfortable as possible. I love to interact with children and would make the tutoring as fun as possible.
Background
I am an undergraduate student who has been taking care of children for 9 years. Within this time, I have helped ages 4-8 on their reading skills. I have helped students learn to read better while babysitting and working at a preschool.
