About Oliver
I am a junior at the University of Pennsylvania studying political science and diplomatic history with a particular emphasis on human rights and democracy promotion. My undergraduate research has focused on internet governance and the role that diminishing adherence to free speech has on the spread of democratic backsliding in Western Europe. In high school, I was a nationally ranked public forum debater (top 10) and traveled the country debating issues ranging from immigration reform to nuclear proliferation.
