Methodology
Typical lesson breakdown:
10 minutes- reviewing a long-term skill (ex. multiplication skills for Math tutoring or vocabulary words for English tutoring)
10-20 minutes- reviewing what we did the previous week
30-40 minutes- covering and practicing a new skill/topic
Meeting time might also include going over missed homework/quiz/test problems, reviewing written work, reading, topic discussions, test preparation, or any other learning tactic that will serve to further the student’s knowledge and performance.
