About Ed

I have been working in the field of Education for some 50+ years. I have taught 5th grade; 7th grade--English & Social Studies; tutored Public & Private High School students--English, Writing & Public Speaking, and recently taught Graduate School--Psychology. The number of students i have worked with over the years is impossible to count. However, I continue to enjoy making a difference in a young persons life and take great satisfaction in seeing the growth. As an aside, my proudest moment was attending the graduation, at Vanderbilt University, of a young lady whom I started tutoring (pro-bono) at the age of seven (7) thru High School. She was the first member of her family to not only go to and graduate College, she was the first to graduate High School. I had "promised" her that if she concentrated on her studies she could do it even though it was not affordable,. Yes, she received a full four year Room, Board and Tuition scholarship and graduated with honors.
