The methods of instruction and teaching philosophy that I have used have yielded positive outcome, which includes, such as boosting the students’ understanding of the course subject matter and maintaining student morale. I like to begin a course with a short pre-test to assess students’ general knowledge of the topic. This helps me to know which topics they already have a handle on and which will require more attention. Based on the assessment i then use appropriate learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect understanding of the differences in learning styles in students, which have led to better performance scores as well as boosting the students morale.
