My teaching method is based on teacher/student communication, and active learning. I work best with students who are struggling in the areas of reading fluency, comprehension, and writing, as well as those with learning disabilities. This can be students at any age, grade-level, and ability. I find that engaging, communicating, and fostering positivity in each lesson empowers the student towards success.
I am a certified teacher in English, Language Arts, Reading, and Special Education. Since my teaching experience is so diversified, I am able to address many different areas of learning issues students may encounter. For instance, achieving better grades, assisting beginning readers/writers, helping with study skills, improving reading comprehension, finding success as a new college student, improving social skills, and empowering those with learning disabilities.
