My teaching methods changes wherever a student is at with their level of playing, but I always focus on developing a good technique. A good foundation for playing violin or piano is the most important aspect to have when working with music.
I am a graduate student at Loyola University, and I did my undergrad at Northwestern for biochemistry and music. I've learned violin and piano for 17 years, and I have taught kids from ages 5 to 12 piano and violin since high school. I also teach music theory, which is essential for reading and analyzing music.
