I am passionate about teaching and knowledge and have always naturally fell into the roll of an educator, mainly in younger students. My approach is simple - listen to the children and figure out what drives them. Education to me is about enhancing the passions, while giving them the necessary information to do so. I am patient, understanding, and inclined to be in this field.
I've been giving lessons in many forms since I was in high school. I have experience in educating numerous children/young adults on many different fronts; I volunteered for an organization called "shooting for Stars", where I was able to teach disabled children how to ice skate/play hockey, and make friends and meaningful social interactions while doing so. I have also volunteered at the Science Olympiad in order to help bolster the creative and problem-solving characteristics in elementary school children. I've had nothing but positive feedback from both my students and mentors.
