About the lesson

I am a sixty-three year old semi-retired individual with many job skills. My ability to tutor people with a desire to learn can only be ascertained by first acknowledging the individuals proficiency in any given subject. Approach and technique are straight-forward. Only when a student wants to learn, are they able to be taught.

I spent five years as a GED instructor at several prisons. The number of students varied. We normally had between fifteen and twenty-five guys in attendance on any given day. Most of these guys who stuck with their course of study achieved their high school certification. ( GED ) Reading,writing,and spelling, as well as history, were my mainstays.
