I have a strong passion to help those whom tend to struggle in basic applied mathematics. I have the keen ability to simplify mathematic equations and word problems for easier learning. Proficient in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, algebra, unit conversions, and simple word problems.
I am a retired employee of RJ Reynolds after 30 years of service. I graduated from Fort Valley State University with a BS degree in Agricultural Engineering Technology. I served in the United States Army Reserve for 8 yrs.
Both of my parents were educators in the school system. Teaching basic mathematics has always been a favorite pastime of mine that l enjoy to help struggling students. I get excited when I can help share my professional experience and the importance of math fundamentals with our young future leaders of tomorrow. Learning and understanding mathematics at an early age is a key fundamental component in life.
Per student lesson is scheduled for a ( minimum of at least 1 hour and also not to exceed 2 hrs ). The full cash payment is due prior to start of each lesson plus $5 transportation fee. For same day lessons that exceed the scheduled 1 hr session an additional $10 must be paid prior
for each additional ( 1 to 30 min) per student.
