APL Associates is an organization that has dedicated its focus and energies to working with professional educators. To this end we are committed to assisting educational organizations in planning and implementing a meaningful and ongoing staff development program. It is becoming increasingly evident that school districts and organizations that identify and implement comprehensive staff development programs are reaping some interesting and exciting dividends. Results include staff morale that is on the upswing, meaningful and positive communication, productive time on task management, improved planning and organization, consistent and positive classroom management, application of proven classroom instructional techniques and skills, and much more. Effective Schools research is clearly indicating that providing staff with a meaningful, practical and ongoing staff in-service is basic to realize quality performance goals.
My experiences in education, over 43 years, as being a school district superintendent in South Dakota and Nebraska have resulted in my being well-known in both states. Additionally, with my travels to school districts in 45 states visiting both urban and rural districts, has given my own background knowledge of educational concerns throughout America credible vision and understanding. I have also driven a limousine for Meadows Senior Living for 2 ½ years. I have never had an accident in 53 years of driving. I still like to drive.
I have written successful school curriculum goals and standards in the early 90’s and established them in a school district that has been a cornerstone of their core values since 1993. Moreover, their high school students have averaged over 10% of each graduating class with scores over 30 on the ACT tests. In 1993, our curriculum vision was comparative to the STEM systems now popular across the United States, but with additional direction in the fine arts and language arts.
I continue to research and build my knowledge by online development in education with inetlibrary.com and ez-robots (coding education and robots).
If the assignments are obviously not being followed, the coming classes will be canceled.
