About the lesson
I teach by modeling, direct instruction, example, student practice, and constructive, positive, warm support. I am patient, smart, experienced, and have a great sense of humor. I believe that every student can learn! Having been a reading supervisor I understand how children learn to read and how to keep children engaged in the reading process. Because I am a writer, I can teach students to write. I understand the standards in math and that today's math is not a rote subject but is based more on thinking.
