About the lesson

I have a Master's degree in Nursing. I began my academic career with a with a practical nurse certificate I then went to Eastern Michigan University and obtained my bachelor's in nursing. I then went on to earn my masters in nursing with a certificate as a nurse practitioner in women's health nursing I've had best experience with adolescent Health Care.

About Patricia K

I began my nursing experience at the age of 17 working in a nursing home as a nursing assistant. I took the slow route and earn my masters 9 years after earning my certificate as a licensed practical nurse.
I have taught nursing students NCLEX exam up and down the coast of California using the Kaplan method.
I have taught in various nursing programs have taught students both entry-level and those with an advanced degree in nursing. I have a holistic approach to teaching and I believe strongly in the nursing process. I utilize Maslow's hierarchy of needs as a base from a developmental approach.
