About Amy

I have taught Chinese to students from kindergarten to high school at private, charter, and public schools since 2010. I taught Chinese heritage schools for 5 years and tutored business Chinese to an adult who often traveled to China. I took a graduate-level course for online teaching and have experience of teaching online.

I teach Mandarin Chinese through storytelling, fun games, and result-oriented activities. I tailor a curriculum and lesson plans based on students' individual needs. I use formative evaluation to monitor students' progress and frequently modify my teaching strategies based on my class observation and evaluation.
