About Marta

I have always combined my studies with teaching cello lessons. I love to meet new students and build together a new path to achieve the goals we set. I have work with a variety of levels and interests always helping the students find their voice and provide as much feedback as possible for them to improve and to know how to practice at home.

I have been teaching for about 10 years, internationally offering workshop, clinics and individual lessons. I teach a variety of repertoire from our fish classical cello repertoire to jazz, groove, world and pop music.

I was trained with the Suzuki Method and I like the idea to understand music a tool to communicate and to learn it that way.
The cello is the instrument most similar to the human voice and the human voice is in all the cultures so my philosophy is that the cello can be and play all kinds of genres. I adapt to the necessities, goals and dreams of my students finding the best repertoire and achieve a great technique.
