I approach each class/session as a meditation with an emphasis on staying connected to your internal experience: bodily sensations, emotions, thoughts, and breath. In my private sessions, my clients and I work together, experimenting with movement and breathing exercises in order to find what best serves their needs on a given day.
I've always loved to observe the intimate connection between movement and mood: the calm stillness that follows a hike in the woods, the rush of endorphins you feel after you've just performed, or the exuberance of handstands, cartwheels, or just hanging upside down on the monkey bars. Yoga takes advantage of this connection, offering us many tools for self exploration. By gaining greater understanding of our own bodies and minds, we can foster healthy relationships to ourselves, others, and the planet.

Holly is a rare talent. She taught yoga in my apartment building in NYC. She's the reason i've gone back to taking classes. She is intuitive, kind, with great positive energy that you would want in a yoga instructor and a human being. Oh how I miss her in-person classes! She is one of a kind and I cannot recommend her enough.
Holly is the literal best. Her calm energy and encouraging spirit is everything. I have been doing yoga for 10+ years and it wasn't until Holly that I was finally able to nail a headstand. Since the world has shut down I've been taking Zoom classes with Holly and her amazing teaching skills still shine through. I cannot say enough good things about Holly or recommend her highly enough!
Holly is the best yoga teacher I have ever had! She puts so much thought into her classes, her sequencing, her music choices - everything. She leverages her understanding of anatomy to help make class effective. Also her voice is so soothing. Highly recommend.
I love yoga because of Holly. A good teacher inspires us, lifts us up, listens to us, heals us, and induces a safe place to experience something new and challenging. This is Holly, she has taken me on a wonderful journey.
