It depends. My teaching style is greatly influenced by a credo in clinical judgement; treat what you see. It depends on the academic level of the student. It depends on the difficulty of topic. It definitely depends on the level of interest and goals of the student. One constant will be determining the ideal learning process for a specific individual. Another constant will be designing lessons with consideration to best learning. I believe lasting impressions are engaging, relevant, and fun.
