About Nayla

I am a student. I am a High school freshman. I have been playing the flute for approximately 5 years and participate and take a symphonic band class. I can teach you to produce good tone, how to read music sheets, how to get better at tone and volume.

I will first assess the student on their level. What notes can they play? If any, can they preform basic scales and maybe a chromatic scale. We will start from there. I will gladly teach any student age 9+. Since I at first went about the flute teaching myself, there were a few things I did not see as wrong, like my posture, but now I have fixed this. Since I got out of bad habits and such I know what to look out for when teaching students how to play since I was one of those students before.

Details

For all students no matter what level I will charge $25 an hour. I will make exceptions of course but you will have to speak to me after class for more information. If you take 10 classes with me, I will lower your rate to $20.
