Everything you can imagine is real.

Are you ready to get started? Let's start with Halloween!
Drawings for Halloween
Stop printing off decorations or things to color; you can make your own decorations and drawings for Halloween. You can color them yourself or make them for your children to color in. It’ll be a welcome relief from the same stuff they color all the time.
For Halloween, there are a few things you can draw so grab your art supplies.
Here are a few things you can draw:
- A pumpkin
- A dead person’s head
- A skeleton
- A “Scream” mask
- Witches on broomsticks
- A vampire
- Monsters
- Scary clowns

Another idea is to learn how to draw a scary teddy bear.
Step 1
The Eyes
Start by drawing the teddy bear’s eyes. Draw one eye on the right by drawing an angled line and then making another shorter line underneath to make a point. Join up the loose edges with a curved line. The second eye will be smaller. Opposite the first eye, draw a curved line for the top of the eye, then join the first line starting with a slight curve at the end.
Step 2
The Head
Let’s move onto the bear’s head. The lines need to be straighter and in the form of an octagon. Don’t forget to give the bear some fur with some zig-zags.
Step 3
The Details
Draw a scar on his forehead. Draw an angled line with perpendicular lines for the stitches. Add the ears. Personally, I prefer curved eyes but you can also make them curved horn-like ears.
Step 4
The Body
For the bear’s body, draw an oval. Add another scar. Its arms need to be on each side of the body emerging from the base of the head. Draw some curved rectangles for its legs. Some extra scars won’t go amiss and once you’re done, you can go back over the lines with a pencil or black felt-tip. Make sure everything’s dried before you erase the pencil.
Drawing Ideas for Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving drawings are a great way to express the warmth and togetherness of the season. You might start with a friendly, animated turkey, giving it fun expressions or a little personality. Pumpkins, cornucopias, and fall leaves can be drawn with cozy, autumn colors, adding a homey, welcoming vibe. Imagine drawing a Thanksgiving dinner table, full of delicious food and surrounded by smiling faces, capturing the joy of gathering with loved ones. For something more heartfelt, create a thankful tree, where each leaf symbolizes a personal gratitude. These small touches bring out the true spirit of Thanksgiving—family, warmth, and appreciation.
The first Thanksgiving feast in 1621 lasted three days! It was a celebration between the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag tribe. While turkey is the star of today's holiday, their menu included deer, seafood, plenty of corn and squash.
What Can You Draw for Christmas?
Let’s move away from the autumnal holidays and towards the festive winter celebrations. Ah, the holidays! Without a doubt, most children’s (and adults’) favorite time of the year. Christmas films on TV, hot chocolate, decorations around town, mulled wine, etc.

You can even make your own Christmas cards! So what will you draw?
- A Christmas tree
- Father Christmas
- A Snowman
- Santa’s elf
- A reindeer
- Santa’s sleigh
- A present
- A house in the snow
- A gingerbread man
- Snowballs
How to Draw a Christmas Tree
- You can use several layers of wave-like shapes and a rectangular base.

- You can draw a single line with lines coming off it until you get to the base. You can always add a pot at the bottom and a star at the top.
- Draw a vertical line and draw increasingly large triangles on either side until you reach the bottom. You can then color them in.
- You can draw zig-zags starting at the top that get bigger until you reach the bottom.
- You can also draw a vertical line with bigger and bigger waves.
There are plenty of tutorials available online to help you.

Drawing Ideas for New Year's!
A popular idea is drawing fireworks in the sky, filled with bright colors and different lines. Clocks striking midnight are another iconic symbol, which you can decorate for extra creativity. For a celebratory feel, draw champagne glasses clinking, party hats, confetti or a 2024 banner.
Whether it is detailed or minimalistic, New Year’s drawings can express the spirit of new beginnings!
What Can You Draw at Easter?
Finished digesting your Christmas chocolates? Now it’s time for Easter! What would you like to draw for this holiday?
- A rabbit
- Easter eggs
- A chicken
- Bells
- A basket filled with chocolate
- A bouquet

Here’s how to draw a chick in an Easter egg:
- Start with two ovals for the eyes. Add to conjoined triangles for the beak.

- Draw a zig-zag for the top of the Easter egg above the chick’s eyes. Do the same underneath its beak.
- Draw two curved lines either side of its eyes to complete the head. Add two wings coming out either side of the egg. Finish the egg by drawing a curved line above and below the zig-zags to complete the shell.
- Add decorations to the egg: stars, stripes, hearts, flowers, a rainbow, etc.
- Next, the color. Don’t forget to leave a tiny white circle in the chick’s eyes. Color the beak in orange, the chick in yellow, and color the egg to your heart’s content.

What Can You Draw for Saint-Patrick's Day?
Saint Patrick's Day drawings are a fun way to embrace Irish culture and tradition. You can start with a simple shamrock, adding your own twist by giving it personality or a unique design. Playful leprechauns with their signature green hats and cheerful expressions are always a hit, especially when paired with a pot of gold at the end of a colorful rainbow. For a touch of charm, draw a lucky horseshoe or a cozy Irish pub scene with clinking beer mugs. Adding little details like Celtic knots or the traditional harp brings out the holiday's rich, festive spirit.

Drawings for Birthdays!
Birthdays can take place at any time during the year. It’s a great opportunity to create original designs. You could draw a birthday cake, balloons, or banners to celebrate. You can vary this according to your preferences and whose birthday it is. Don’t hesitate to create birthday cards yourself or as a project to do with your children.
You can create a birthday card to wish somebody a “Happy Birthday”. It’s more thoughtful than a card that you can find in a shop. Additionally, if you would like to create some custom decorations for your kid’s birthday, you could create colorful banners!

Draw Symbols for the Fourth of July
Fourth of July drawings are all about capturing the excitement and patriotic spirit of the holiday. You can start with fireworks, adding bright, bold colors to show the bursting celebrations in the night sky. An American flag waving in the breeze is another classic, or you can draw stars and stripes in creative patterns. For a festive feel, you can draw a barbecue event with friends, grilling burgers and enjoying the day. Adding small details like sparklers or kids running with flags can highlight the joyful atmosphere.
These elements bring out the fun, pride, and unity of the 4th of July! Here's a tutorial on YouTube on how to draw the American flag!
