The piano is one of the toughest string instruments to learn. Therefore, mastering the piano is one of the best steps to learn music efficiently.
Modern and contemporary music contains a myriad of musical styles.
If you’re still in the piano initiation phase and you begin to plateau, you will still be able to enjoy playing; no need to become a virtuoso pianist.
With a little theory, knowing how to read a score, mastering the coordination of both hands and understanding three or four piano chords (the minor, F major, C major, G major), you have enough to start playing famous piano pieces.
The musical scores from the famous French film, Amélie Poulain, are very easy to pick up when you are a beginner.
It is when you want to advance that things start to get tough: mastering the rhythm with your left hand, deciphering a piece of piano music by ear, gathering the notes into an arpeggio, knowing the scales (major and minor scale), exploring a different style of music (classical piano, jazz piano), improvising, etc…
These approaches are precisely the goals of a private piano lesson!
Piano lessons can also introduce you to the basics, and help you interpret a new piece of music.
With your piano teacher, you can learn the same things as you would in music school, but your lessons offer less coercion and competition than piano school.
No need to learn to play the Mistral Winner (Renaud), or work on the Sonata in the moonlight or the Letter to Elise (Beethoven) for months!

Higher musical education – university degree or national conservatory (CNSM) -, your piano teacher will have many years of experience and practice. Passionate about piano music, they will also teach you their best methods in piano learning.
All our teachers adapt to your level and give piano lessons to all ages. Even if you’re at beginner level, you’ll find the right tutor to suit your specific needs.
The lessons can be divided into 30, 45, 60 or even 90 minutes, weekly or monthly and you can choose the tutor in accordance with your budget.
Each session will be punctuated by a solfeggio course (to play a piano score, it is necessary to dissociate treble clef and bass clef and to understand the intervals of notes).
A training flap will work the right hand/left hand coordination as well as the piano chords and ranges. The goal is to be autonomous and less dependent.
For a progressive piano learning, it is recommended that you buy a piano for your lessons and practice as much as possible.
Talk with your piano tutor about the right type of piano for; some people prefer playing on a digital piano, others a classic piano or even a grand piano.
