How Much Does 9Round Cost per Month?
9Round doesn’t set one national price. Each studio posts its own rates, and most offer a term plan and a flexible plan. In Charlotte, North Carolina, a 6-month term costs $99 a month. The month-to-month plan costs $119 and needs 30 days’ notice to cancel. That studio also sells a 10-session punch pack for $169.
Prices run higher on the West Coast. In Long Beach, California, a 12-month term costs $109 a month and month-to-month costs $139. You can also pay $699 upfront for six months, which works out to about $117 a month.

That idea shapes what your money buys. A 9Round workout is nine 3-minute rounds with 30-second active breaks, for 30 minutes in total. There are no set class times, and a trainer guides you through every round. Both studios we checked also offer a free week pass to first-time local visitors.
How Do 9Round, TITLE Boxing Club and iLoveKickboxing Compare?
These three kickboxing fitness franchises price their memberships in a similar band. They differ more in format, from 9Round’s drop-in circuit to scheduled group classes elsewhere.

TITLE Boxing Club sells both memberships and class packs. In Fairfax, eight classes a month cost $130 and unlimited classes cost $150, with on-demand workouts included. Packs run from $35 for one class to $500 for 20, which brings the price down to $25 a class.
iLoveKickboxing runs 45-minute group workouts. Its studios don’t list monthly rates online, so you’ll need to ask for them. What they do publish is an intro offer: at the Boerum Hill studio in Brooklyn, three classes cost $30, down from a listed $90 value.
Single Class or Monthly Membership: Which Costs Less?
A monthly membership costs less once you train more than about four times a month. At TITLE Boxing Club in Fairfax, four single classes cost $140, while five cost $175. Unlimited classes cost $150, so the membership wins from the fifth visit.
The math is similar at 9Round. The Charlotte punch pack works out to $16.90 a session. The studio recommends working out three to five days a week. At that pace, the $119 monthly plan comes to roughly $6 to $10 per workout.

Most kickboxing studios discount your first visits. The 9Round studios we checked offer a free week to first-time local visitors. TITLE Boxing Club in Fairfax was offering $50 for the first month of any membership.
What Gear Do You Need, and What Does It Cost?
Plan on gloves and hand wraps. TITLE Boxing Club requires both for every class and sells them at the club. iLoveKickboxing also asks for wraps and gloves, and 9Round provides gloves for your first workout. Owning a set also means you never depend on a studio’s spares.
- Hand wraps: $9.99 for Everlast’s 120-inch Core wraps, or $14.99 for its 180-inch Elite wraps
- Fitness gloves: $39.99 for Everlast’s Elite Cardio Boxing Glove, or $44.99 for its Classic Boxing Gloves

A starter set of wraps and gloves costs about $50 to $60. That’s about the price of two drop-in classes at TITLE Boxing Club in Fairfax.
What to Wear to a Kickboxing Class
Pick clothes that let you move freely and breathe well, since you’ll sweat a lot. Skip heavy sweatshirts and anything that restricts your kicks.
- Support layer: a supportive sports bra or compression shirt
- Breathable top: a T-shirt or tank top that moves with you
- Flexible bottoms: leggings, compression shorts, or athletic shorts
- Footwear: check with your gym, because iLoveKickboxing trains barefoot while TITLE Boxing Club recommends athletic shoes
If your gym doesn’t sell or lend gear, bring your own wraps and gloves to the first class.
Fitness Kickboxing vs. Competitive Kickboxing: What Changes?
Fitness kickboxing is the kind 9Round, TITLE, and iLoveKickboxing sell. You punch and kick heavy bags for a workout, with no sparring partner hitting back. The costs are the membership plus a set of gloves and wraps.
Competitive kickboxing costs more. You’ll usually train at a martial arts or fight gym, and you’ll need sparring gear. Everlast sells a headgear and hand wrap bundle for $39.99, and its amateur competition gloves cost $109.99. Organizations also charge fees to compete. KICK International, for example, requires every competitor at its events to pay a $35 annual membership.
What Affects the Price of Kickboxing Classes?
Several factors push your monthly bill up or down. Ask about each one before you sign anything.
- Class limits: unlimited plans cost more than capped ones, like TITLE’s $130 plan for eight classes a month.
- Location: 9Round’s month-to-month plan costs $119 in Charlotte but $139 in Long Beach.
- Commitment: term contracts lower the monthly rate, while month-to-month plans cost more but let you leave.
- Group or private: private coaching costs more than group classes, so ask for rates in writing.
