Pre-calculus is quite hard because it is the combination of Trigonometry with Math Analysis.
Typically you go from Algebra I to Geometry and then Algebra II. At this last moment we have a bit of a split. You can take Algebra II, as we mentioned before, or you can take Algebra II with Trigonometry. If you take Algebra II with Trigonometry, then your next course will probably be Math Analysis. If however you just take Algebra II, your next course will be Pre-calculus, providing you in one single course Math Analysis and Trigonometry.

And learning with a teacher gives you a certain structure to your learning. Because you are meeting with a teacher face to face every week for an hour, you might find yourself more efficient and consistent with your homework as the quality of the lessons may depend on it.
