About Aaron
As a student myself, I understand the stress and anxiety that can come from not fully grasping a subject or fearing failure. These feelings are completely normal. In my experience mentoring over 2,000 students and interning at two of the world’s leading oceanographic institutions: Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and Scripps Institution of Oceanography. I’ve learned that even the most accomplished professionals ask for help. Struggling doesn't mean you're not capable; it means you're learning. I believe questions are the starting point of understanding, and I’m here to provide support, guidance, and answers for any student navigating the challenges of STEM.

Growing up, I faced my fair share of struggles in the classroom. Through these challenges, I developed a deep understanding of different learning styles and came to realize that not everyone learns the same way. Traditional teaching methods are often designed to be uniform, which can leave some students behind if they don’t thrive in that environment. As a tutor, I pride myself on being flexible and adaptive, tailoring my approach to fit each student’s unique learning style.
My sessions often involve drawing out processes, creating visual study guides, and using models or videos when possible. That said, I always adapt to the students, whether they learn best through discussion, repetition, or hands-on problem-solving.
