About Aahana
I am a Year 12 student who achieved Grade 9 in both GCSE Maths and Further Maths and have a genuine passion for mathematics. I understand how challenging GCSEs can be because I recently went through the same experience, so I value the importance of clear explanations, guidance, and encouragement. I enjoy teaching because I like helping others overcome difficulties, gain confidence, and see their progress. I tutor using step-by-step explanations, practice questions, and exam strategies, and being close in age allows me to relate to students and share effective methods that worked for me. My goal is to create a professional, supportive environment where students build skills, achieve their potential, and develop a true understanding and enjoyment of mathematics.

I teach in a clear, step-by-step way, focusing on understanding the methods rather than just memorising answers. I use practice questions, exam techniques, and simple explanations to help students gain confidence and accuracy. Lessons are usually one hour, but I adapt to each student’s pace and needs. Having achieved Grade 9 in both GCSE Maths and Further Maths and now studying A Levels Maths and Further Maths, I know exactly what the exams are like. Being closer in age means I can relate to students’ experiences, explain concepts in a way that feels approachable, and share recent strategies that worked for me. My lessons are designed for GCSE students of any level, whether they are aiming to pass securely or push towards the top grades.
