About Liz
I am a former interpreter for the Deaf turned American Sign Language teacher. I am certified in the state of Texas to teach ASL and Education for the Deaf.
Though I was not raised in the language, I hard of hearing and began my study of the language over 30 years ago. Today I enjoy teaching ASL and working with Deaf/Hard of Hearing on the high school level.

Movement is Memory!
Lessons will be hands on, conversational in design and practice. No matter if you are learning on your own, or need assistance in studying course material- opportunities to practice use of language, grammar structures, and conversational skills are the goals of our time together. Additionally, we will look at important facts and moments in Deaf history and culture.
