About Jacquelyn

I have been heavily involved in sports coaching, particularly equestrian sports, helping children as young as 5 to adults well into the middle years, to find their passion, and set them along the road to following their dreams.

I am now lucky enough to offer tutoring in sciences, biology, and animal studies!

I have my Bachelor of Applied science which covers many facets of general and animal sciences including:
- Biology
- Animal Biology
- Pasture Science/ Plant Bilogy
- Biochemistry
- Microbiology
- Reproduction
- Genetics
- Systems Management and Logistics
- Welfare and Handling of many species!

I am very patient, and understand that everyone learns differently. I pride myself on being flexible in the way in which I deliver information and assist students. I am happy to source information, diagrams, videos, or hands on samples if I believe that is what would best help you!

About the lesson

Hello! I am a Applied Science graduate, from UQ.
I did my extended major in Equine and am very passionate about biology and animal sciences.

I tutor general science, biology, agriculture, and chemistry at high school level, and animal/agricultural biology at undergraduate level.

I have been coaching for many years and love the challenge and rewards of seeing my students understand, improve themselves and become more confident to tackle challenges. I am lucky enough to have the opportunity now to tutor as well!

I believe that everyone learns differently and that one size does Not fit all! Some of us need repetition, to have things explained in different words, by watching, doing or listening! I always try to make my teaching style as dynamic as my students.

My first session with you is free! and will be based on finding out:
- what topics you are wanting tutoring for - to ensure that I am the best match and will be able to provide you with the knowledge you need
- your goals for our sessions
- your learning style

This session enables me to prepare any information/resources I will need to best help you smash your subjects!
