About Anneli

- What kind of experience do you have? I have had many years experience teaching English to second language learners. I have taught in a private school for over six years. I have been teaching lessons via Skype as well as privately - one to one. I have also been involved with International Relocation Days - to help my clients deal with everyday life in the communities they now find themselves living in. I have taught students from the age of 11 to 90 to learn the English language. - Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate? Yes, I have a DBS. - Where and with whom did you train? I trained at Witney Language and Development Centre, Oxfordshire and did my teaching training at a private school. - Do you belong to any professional organisations? English TESOL - General everyday language FCE - First Certificate in English CAE - Cambridge Advanced Certificate IELTS- University Entrance Skype Home Ed. Group Discussion Classes - Tell me about your qualifications. I studied at Trinity College, Oxford. I have a TESOL Certificate. I also have extensive business knowledge having worked in Sales and Marketing, Retail Management and Radio. I have experienced life outside the classroom and students benefit enormously from these experiences. I also do continual study - short courses - to improve my standard and keep up with news and views. - How much do you charge? My fee is mentioned on my page but if booking for 3 month period or more, a discount would be applicable. I can also discount if a group of friends requires a tutor. There is a 24 hour cancellation policy in place. - Where do you teach? I can teach at home and at students' homes. I can cover - Leamington, Stratford, Warwick, Kenilworth and surrounding villages. I can travel a maximum of 15 miles. - When are you available? I am available Monday - Friday: 7.30am - 7.30pm Sat and Sunday - mornings if suitable. I am available to teach within the school holidays - TBA - Which ages and levels do you teach? I teach adults from the age of 18+ but I can teach younger students from age 11. - Which qualifications do you prepare your students for? I prepare my students to socially integrate. I also prepare my students for IELTS, FCE AND CAE exams. I also want my students to enjoy learning the English language so I also have lots of interactive games, music, and role play scenarios to enhance the learning experience. - Describe your arrangements for online tutoring. I do lessons via Skype so a good internet connection is required by the student. - Do you have a personal message for students? I will work with you and build up your confidence. I will give you 110% of my time and in return I ask for a commitment from you the student to do your best and enjoy the wonders of the English language.

Perfect! Annie is a wonderful teacher. My niece gained so much confidence thanks to Annie. She started ESOL lessons as a complete beginner and within 2 weeks she was comfortable enough to have basic conversations with strangers outside to place orders, ask for directions, etc. Annie is very kind and patient. I would highly recommend Annie as a tutor!
