About Charlotte
As a dedicated musician, my passion for music began at a young age, and I have since honed my skills through years of formal education and personal practice. Currently, I’m in the final stages of completing my Bachelor of Music degree, specializing in Classical Recorder, with Jazz Vocals as a second study. My musical journey has provided me with a solid foundation in performance, theory, and education, with the recorder being one of the instruments I’ve grown to love for its versatility and expressive potential!
My teaching experience spans both private lessons and group settings, working with students of various ages and skill levels. I focus on creating engaging, tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of each student. I believe in an interactive approach that makes learning fun while helping students build their technique, musicality, and confidence.
In my teaching, I emphasize not just the mechanics of playing the recorder but also the joy of musical expression. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable to explore, make mistakes, and ultimately grow as musicians. Whether working with beginners or more experienced players, I aim to foster a lifelong love for music in my students.
