About Laura
I am a Fine Art student with over 7+ years of learning Traditional Fine Art techniques as well as a background in Biology and Chemistry. I am currently studying at Queen's University towards a career in Art Conservation with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a minor in Art History and Chemistry. I have worked with the general public for 8+ years and aided in education throughout my working life.

My teaching style revolves around the notion of understanding rather than memorization. Knowing the facts is half of the journey, understanding why things occur the way they do makes all the difference. Classes would begin with opportunities to discuss any lack of understanding from previous lessons, followed by an introduction to new content that can be worked 1-on-1. The methodology will differ with subject matter and students personal needs
