I have a Bachelor's degree in biology with emphasis in cell and molecular biology, chemistry minor, and an Associate of Arts degree with emphasis in Fine Art/Studio Art. I tutor middle school through college freshman levels.
My teaching method is not "one size fits all." I endeavor to meet students where they are and work to understand their needs and their level, and work with them from there.
I have tutored off an on throughout my academic career for 15 years, ranging from middle school students, tutoring my sisters in middle school through college, to leading discussion groups and study sessions with my peers in college for math, biology, and chemistry.
Over three years of experience in laboratory work in Biology while concurrently pursuing a degree in Biology. Experience includes both industrial and research labs for immunology, genetics, and microbiology.
Teaching experience, with seven years in early childhood education and middle school tutoring experience in math, history, English, and science.
Natural leadership, problem solving, and teaching skills that are manifested in becoming a resource in almost any situation for guidance and answering peers’ questions.
