I am currently a college sophomore who graduated as salutatorian in high school. I took all AP and dual credit courses, mostly in English. I received a perfect score on my ACT and a 2200 on my SAT. I am now study to become a Film/TV director. I used to tutor my fellow classmates and most of my underclassmen.
My teaching methods are more tailored to the individual's needs. For example: If you're more of a visual learner, I'll provide diagrams, texts, and presentations as examples of what you're trying to achieve. If you're an auditory learner, I'll gladly video call you and present to you that way.
I'm a very casual and easy-going teacher. I feel that as a student myself that I connect better with instructors that are more relaxed and open with the class because it makes them seem more approachable. Thus I felt more ok with asking questions and getting help if I needed it. That is exactly what I provide. Although I won't be "buddies" with you, I will talk to you and treat you as if you are my own sibling that I'm helping out with their homework.
I have been giving lessons since about 7th grade, but I didn't truly start tutoring until my freshman year in highschool. I would say I have taught 50 students, give or take. I'm not entirely sure what grades every one of my students have achieved, but I do know that 4 underclassmen got perfect scores on their PSATs and 1900, 2100, and 2130 on their SATs. One of my fellow clasmateds got a 32 on his ACT as well.
I will take Kinder-6th grade for free, and 7th grade at half price (all types of lessons and hour packs included). 8th grade-12 grade full price. College students will be an additional 2%.
I graduated as Salutatorian in high school and I am currently studying as a sophomore majoring in Film/TV Production.
I have been tutoring and aiding students in classwork, homework, and test prep since the 7th grade and forward.
