About Andrea

I am a former college professor I taught technical drawing and AutoCAD. I’ve been instructing people how to use their computers for over 20 years, from the internet to solving technical problems. In addition, I have tutored drafting students and I’ve helped them complete their coursework successfully. I have 10 years of hands-on and industry experience using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite. I have a bachelor’s degree in political science, an associate’s degree in Computer Aided Drafting and design, and I have an Autodesk AutoCAD Professional Certification.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on where the student is academically. I use a step-by-step approach to walk the student through the initial drafting concepts creating a comfortable pace to keep the students learning new tasks. I prefer to bring the students along at their pace while incorporating new lessons gradually. As every student has their own learning curve, I find it helpful to adapt to their level of experience and this leads to confidence and successful outcomes. I welcome questions and give constructive feedback.
