About Naledi

Hello!! I'm Naledi, a vocalist and teaching artist, originally from South Africa, and I absolutely love sharing my passion for music with others. I've been fortunate enough to perform at some incredible venues, like Madison Square Garden, and even share the stage with amazing artists like Hans Zimmer! But what truly fuels my fire is connecting with students and helping them find their own unique voices. As a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, with experience teaching over 20,000 students across the US, I bring a unique blend of energy and expertise to every lesson. I specialize in jazz and contemporary music, and I love weaving in the vibrant rhythms and stories of my South African heritage. I've even designed curriculum for programs like Carnegie Hall's Musical Explorers! My teaching style is all about fostering a fun, supportive environment where you can feel comfortable exploring your musicality. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, I'm here to guide you on your journey and help you discover the magic within. Let's make some music together!

The Musiq studio offers lessons and workshops in vocal jazz, R&B, and soul, improvisation, vocal techniques, and South African music.

Perfect! This was my first voice lesson ever. I had a lot of fun with Naledi. It was a very encouraging experience. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn I can likely sing in the range of soprano. I had always thought I had a lower voice. I appreciate Naledi's teaching methods and the gentle push to go further with my voice.
