About Blaise
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music and have spent the last 8 years teaching piano to students of all ages. My journey began as a young performer and grew into a passion for mentoring others. I enjoy helping students not just play, but truly understand and feel the music. In addition to private teaching, I have experience accompanying choirs, working with small ensembles, and participating in local concerts. These opportunities have shaped my approach to teaching—practical, musical, and encouraging. I believe that music should be both technically strong and personally expressive. I aim to create a warm, relaxed learning environment where students feel supported at every step. Whether you’re just starting out or returning to the piano after years away, I offer patient guidance, structured planning, and positive reinforcement. My goal is to help you discover your musical voice through the keys.

Every lesson begins with a focus on the fundamentals—posture, hand placement, and finger strength. Beginners will develop a solid understanding of the keyboard through fun and practical exercises. We incorporate rhythm games, note-reading drills, and basic theory to build confidence and comfort from the first week. As skills improve, students begin exploring scales, chords, and sight-reading with more complexity. Lessons are customised to suit each student’s goals and musical interests, whether that's classical pieces, pop songs, or learning to improvise. We balance creativity with structure to ensure musical growth and personal enjoyment. For advanced learners, the lessons shift towards artistry, interpretation, and performance readiness. We study advanced repertoire, practise expressive dynamics, and analyse pieces for deeper musical understanding. Whether you’re aiming for exams, recitals, or simply enhancing your playing, lessons are always focused, thoughtful, and rewarding.
