I am a UC Berkeley graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. I am looking to tutor Middle and High School students in Spanish, ESL, English, Microsoft Excel, Personal Finance, Economics, Math and US History.
I strongly believe that practice helps students to learn best. Meaning that once a student understands the theory behind a lesson, they need to practice with problems in order to get a deeper level of understanding of the concept and be prepared for exams.
As a tutor, I am very patient, supportive and proactive in ensuring my students feel comfortable asking me questions so that they fully understand the material. I also have a good sense of humor and can make sure that the kids are having fun while learning.
