My goal as a teacher is to learn each student in order to give them quality information and tools for growth in their art. Proper breathing, projection, confidence, and knowledge of the instrument are the main struggles I see for student singers. Hand placement, reading music, and feeling rhythms are a main struggle for student pianists. There are many ways to explore, learn, and grow as an artist. In our lessons, together we explore the best ways for each student. There are many ways to explore music and to explore your own art. There are many ways to grow and stretch as an artist. I will take the time to explore the best way to do that with each student. I am big on confidence building for every age. As someone who once was super shy and had tons of stage fright, I love to work through it with my students. Whether you need some confidence or are ready to hit the stage, I am here to help. Curriculum In our lessons we will cover: Warm-up exercises Exploration of different genres Confidence/Performance/Audition tools Projection Range Building/Expanding repertoire Music Theory/Harmony I meet in-person and online. I look forward to working with you or your student!
