About Mackenzie
French was my first love and I'm passionate about sharing the language and Francophone cultures with others! I'm a former language immersion instructor at Concordia Language Villages and Middlebury with an Honors degree in French Language & Literature from the University of Chicago and Université de Paris (including PhD-level courses). I bring a global, Francophone perspective from experience living and working in France (Paris), Switzerland (Fribourg), Cameroon (Yaoundé, Ngaoundéré), and Togo (Lomé, Kuwdé). You can be confident that I'm bringing the best teaching methods to help you learn and most importantly, enjoy the beauty and musicality of the French language!

Culture and literature - I'll expose you to different parts of the Francophone world and their respective histories and cultures
Language immersion to support fluency - I'll speak to you only in French!
